Digital dentistry has transformed implant care, making collaboration between clinician, technician, and surgical specialist essential. This session highlights how shared workflows and teamwork create predictable, long-term success for patients, from single units to full arch cases.
The Age of Digital Dentistry is essentially the totality of restorative dentistry in the 21st century. Our reliance on the wide variety of digital technologies available to us has essentially changed how we practice dentistry today. As a result, the development of predictable and reliable workflows between the clinician, surgical specialist and technician are crucial for the longevity of the treatments we choose for our patient care from simple to complex implant cases. This refinement of the “best practices” approach to digital workflow development therefore is dependent upon a clear and concise collaboration between the team members involved. Together, we must figure out as one entity what “works” and what “doesn’t work” for each patient. How does the team treatment plan and digital workflow impact the longevity of our restorations in our dental implant patients?
In this presentation by a technician – clinician team that have worked together for 20 years, (with over 15 years of digital experience) we will discuss how to develop productive and predictable workflows.
